Inspired by a family legacy to create my own.

It all started with my grandmother's rug. I inherited a simple, oval shaped piece she made for her home. I soon learned that the craft tied together the elements of design I enjoy most: color, texture, form & style. These elements have always interested me, and rug hooking ties them all together into a craft that produces pieces of art that will last for generations to come. Rug hooking, and the design process it involves, provides an outlet of creative expression and a chance to experiment with the creative process. I really just want to capture a glimpse of beauty to pass down to others. Painting with wool, figuring out how to do it and to have fun exploring color and texture, is what I’m striving for. I love to help others create their rugs with their vision.
