This rug is a memory rug design of my beloved horse, Ben. He was a wedding gift from my husband and brought me many years of joy and delight. After his passing, I wanted to design something that would help me through his loss and keep his memory alive. He was a lovely Arabian gelding and we miss him greatly! The rug pattern is an adaptation of an antique rug and although its quite large, it hooked up quickly because of the simple elements in the design. It is 30x48" and I can leave the lettering off if you would like. The design would easily lend itself to changing out the image in the center to whatever you would like. My horse is lovely, but you can color your horse to your wishes.

As always, I hand draw the design on grain to the foundation, leaving 4" of foundation around the design, for ease of hooking. I hem the foundation to prevent raveling also. The pattern will be drawn on monks cloth or primitive linen, your choice in this listing.
