This pattern is 24x30" and came about as a result of a cushion project for the Barchois Church Museum in British Columbia. The museum created a Facebook page to ask for donations from the 50 U.S. states of cushions for their historic church. A friend who had created a cushion for South Dakota asked if I would design one for the state of Iowa. This is the result. My sample is small, based on the requests for the cushions.

I realize Iowa is much more diverse than what the pattern shows but to me, living in a rural area, the beauty of the state is the landscape and rural features such as the barns and fields. The pattern is large enough that other details could be added, to suit your tastes. Feel free to embellish the pattern to your liking.
