This is an adaptation of an antique card that I had photos of from my early rug hooking years. I loved the two kids working to build such a cute snowman and the snowy field and trees. I can image the bigger brother telling his little sister how to make the snowman. The sky could be dark or daylight, with icy blue wool hooked into the movement of the snow. It’s another pattern on my list to hook. I know I’m slow to load these winter patterns on the website but for us in Northern IA, winter will be here quite a while yet! Just think, you can get a head start on hooking a winter rug for next year!

This pattern is 20×27” and is available on primitive linen or monk’s cloth.
