This is my latest pattern, just finished by my dear friend, Jean Bartel. I wanted to try some fun, simple shapes and see what happened. She and I discussed the way this pattern should play out, with #10 cut on the scallops and a simple design overall. She suggested the standing wool on the leaf shapes and the outline of the tulip cluster. Jean is a very fast hooker but the rug goes together quickly, since its a wide cut overall. The standing wool outlines could easily be hooked instead of sewn down as standing wool. The color plans for this rug are endless. Pick your favorite color for the tulips and go from there! The pattern is a generous 30x50" on primitive linen or monks cloth, your choice in this listing.
