This small mat is 12x16" so its really quick to hook up! I love vintage Belsnickles and enjoy all the ways they can be hooked. The small wreath and feather tree add to his charm and add some winter greenery to the design, along with the sprigs in the corners. This mat would love so cute on a door, in a small nook on the wall or even framed in an old frame. Belsnickles can be wearing many different colored robes so you have a lot of room to try a new color combo. Since there is some small detail, I hooked it in a 6-8 cut. I did use small, black glass beads for his eyes since they are so small also. It would be fun to embellish the mat with other decorative beads and jewels to add sparkle. Have fun with it! You can get it done before next Christmas!
