This pattern is my adaptation of an antique book plate fraktur. It was so striking! I love the simple yet bold designs found in frakturs. Such great artistry! The finished size is 21x32", a great size that will hook up quickly. My sample was hooked by my friend, Jean Bartel. She has always been so kind to hook many of my patterns so I'll have a finished piece to show you. She hooked most of the rug in a 9 cut but had hooked some 8's in it as well, for detail.
